A career website can help people of all ages and areas of expertise find a job, even if they are interested in relocating. People who are starting out with a full time job, or individuals that are interested in advancing to upper level management can find excellent opportunities on the Internet. Let's take a look at some samples of what professions might be available.
Medical encoders and transcribers. Both of these positions pay good hourly wages and are expected to continue to be in demand well into the future. A medical encoder must know the numeric codes used in the health industry for the billing process.
Medical transcribers are needed to work with patients, and sometimes witnesses, to record their statements in special formats. Doctors often use voice recordings when examining patients, and a transcriber is needed to convert these recording to printed format.
Pharmacy professionals. Pharmacy technicians work closely with a licensed pharmacist, and must have good math skills. They often speak with insurance companies and doctors offices to verify medical information and dosages.
Licensed pharmacists who have completed their degrees are needed in the pharmacy of large retail companies who are hiring for new locations. These positions could be available anywhere in the world.
Health care professionals. Nurses and supporting staff are needed at hospitals and other medical facilities to assist patients with their health care issues. Medical professionals are needed to conduct various tests, and operate an assortment of medical equipment.
Physical therapists and assistants. People who have had surgery, or been in some type of accident, will often be assigned a physical therapist to help them recover and get back to work. The therapist holds the higher degree, but needs the support staff of assistants to help patients do their exercises and adjust different types of equipment.
Industrial plumbers who hold a degree. Where there are large populations, and industrial facilities, it requires more than a few hand tools to be a licensed plumber. Medical facilities often have steam systems that are used in cleaning operating rooms, and bib tourist attractions that have large hotels on site that also need steam to clean the kitchens. These steam systems must be manned by employees who have attended at least a 2 years trade school, and graduated with courses in The Theory of Pipes, and bio hazards. Sterilization techniques have become specialized due to massive amounts of money being awarded in law suits.
Computer technicians and programmers. Not everything in electronics is Plug & Play. There are huge computer systems which require hands on experience in troubleshooting and repairs. Technicians with a 2 year associates degree are needed to maintain large computer server banks to keep corporations up and running.
Computer programmers are needed to write the software used in handling customers information. Security issues are always a concern, and professionals who are schooled in firewall protection are sought after everyday.
Licensed and specialized carpenters. An apprentice carpenter might be looking for an opportunity to advance their career. A website could have the listing that is exactly what the person has been looking for. Master carpenters might want to find a job that advances them to a management level. They may even be looking for a job that lets them relocate. A carpenter on the west coast might easily find a career promotion in a different country.
Auto Diesel mechanics. These professionals are needed to maintain vehicles that are used for many purposes. Car dealerships are not the only places who hire mechanics. Trucking companies have hundreds of tractor trailer trucks which must be kept up to the requirements of DOT. Most of the tractors burn diesel fuel, but smaller local trucks may use gasoline. The trailers that are pulled behind these trucks have air brake lines which must be dependable. A backyard mechanic is probably not going to be considered for filling one of these positions.
Event setup and take down professionals. Special events can be held both indoor and outdoor. In many cases, there are huge tents used to provide shelter for the festivities, or trade shows. These jobs require the experience and know how for working at heights, and how to safely secure cables that are used for tying down the edges of the tents. Indoor events, such as trade shows, require building and dismantling stages and booth set up. People who have experience in these jobs can easily find a position from a career website.
Electrical engineers. Electricians are needed when houses are built, and they are also needed for large construction jobs. A licensed electrician might be able to relocate frequently with a construction company that specializes in building high rise apartments. Skyscrapers are another place where electrical wiring must be installed, and famous amusements parks need these professionals to maintain and repair their electrical systems.
Professional drivers. Over the road drivers are also known as truckers. The requirements for driving a truck have become more complex, and each type of material being hauled has special requirements that must be met.
Licensed and certified drivers are also needed for local hauling, and must be tested for the type of vehicle they operate. There are also tests for the type of materials being hauled, or the number of passengers that can be safely seated in the vehicle.
Security and crowd control. Most people think of these professionals as being traffic cops, but there are security companies who are involved in surveillance and other security issues that need these people for serious law enforcement. From casinos to hotels and corporate institutions, security and crowd control are vital.
Restaurant management and administration. Each location of chain operated restaurants need managers. Depending on the hours of operation, there could be several shifts of management personnel. The corporate offices need administrators, and these people often travel from one restaurant to another. They are involved in overseeing the operations and making suggestions to improve their facilities.
Internships. Doctors are usually thought of as having to serve an internship, but there are other professions where this is a necessity. Lab consultants, radiologists, analysts, scientists and business information systems specialists, are all internships that are available for people who are qualified in their field of study.
Clerical Positions. Clerical personnel can find jobs using the Internet. Every phase of business needs the supporting staff to complete tasks such as cashier operators, and stock room duties. There are thousands of possibilities of job listings posted to websites from across the globe. It might be a good idea to do your own investigation and check out the companies before applying for a job.
